"Ethereal Plains" in the heart of McCook is a community-created mural that celebrates the people and landscape of Southwest Nebraska. The design transitions from moonlit night to sunrise, while the migrating geese symbolize the journeys that brought so many families to call McCook home. More than 100 community members came together to help create this mural, making it a true reflection of the hometown they share.
